This is the time of year again; we're in the season in which St. Patrick's commemoration sparks inspiration.
Born in Roman Britain in the late 4th century, he was kidnapped at the age of 16 and taken to Ireland as a slave.
In a strange and beautiful providence, he had spent six years among Irish people as a captive, learned their language, and developed a heart for them. Like Joseph, who was sold into slavery to one day save Egypt and his brothers, God sent Patrick into slavery to prepare Ireland for a coming salvation. A wonderful story of the changing of a heart and the power of love for the Irish people. Nowadays, St. Patrick's Day, by extension, also celebrates the heritage, folklore and culture of the Irish in general. Celebrations generally involve public parades, festivals, and the wearing of green attire or shamrocks.
Even if you are not Irish, you can also draw inspiration from the beautiful custom that the Irish people have and join the celebration to overcome struggles in life with a creative mind and wonderful love by decorating your garden and your house (DIY) into a spectacular scene that people will stumble upon when they see it.
